High above Raron, in the quiet hamlet of Erbbodo, a place awaits where time runs slower. This charming chalet is located at the entrance to the wildly romantic Bietschtal. From here, the view stretches far across the Rhone Valley to the majestic peaks of the Valais Alps. In the morning, the sun rises over the mountains, in the evening it bathes the valley in golden light, and at night, a starry sky reveals itself as one only experiences far from civilization.

Here you live off-grid, like a true grid-independent mountain hut. The sun provides your electricity, cooking is done classically with gas, and fresh water flows in from the traditional Suone. Instead of traffic noise, you hear birdsong, the wind, and the ringing of cowbells when the farmer's cows graze in the meadows above the chalet.

Across three levels, two floors with 25 m² net living area each as well as a mezzanine of 12.5 m², a cozy refuge full of warmth and character awaits you. The homely kitchen invites you to sociable evenings with friends. On the upper floor, the light-flooded living room is the ideal place to put your feet up after a hike. Two bedrooms and a modern bathroom make the chalet a fully-fledged retreat. On cooler evenings, the fireplace provides crackling coziness.

The highlight awaits outside: a wood-fired hot pot for two people. Imagine sitting in the warm water on a balmy summer evening, the sun sinking behind the peaks and the first stars lighting up above you.

Around the house, approximately 900 m² of private land (agricultural zone 2nd priority) extends. The surroundings have been lovingly designed with stone slabs, a gravel area, a new fence, trees, and plants. Here you can have breakfast in the morning sun, create a herb garden, or let the day end with a glass of Valais wine.

The chalet has been partially renovated and well-maintained in recent years and is ready for immediate occupancy. It will be handed over furnished, including machines, tools, gas supply, and generator. This way, you can simply arrive and enjoy from day one.

Directly in front of the front door, hiking trails into the Bietschtal and along the Suonen begin. At the same time, life in the valley with Raron, Visp, and Brig is in pleasant proximity. The municipal road passes just above the chalet. It was specifically widened so that up to three vehicles can park there comfortably. Access to the well-known Bärgbeizli Rarnerchumma is also guaranteed in winter. From there, you can reach the chalet in about 20 minutes on foot, or by car depending on the snow conditions.
